As the Summary states, if you select to restart your machine directly to Windows using the KDE4 menu, the machine will keep booting to Windows, no grub2 menu appears, it will simply keeps loading Windows every time you turn on your computer...

I'm not sure if this affects other 13.1 versions, since I just came across this on a clean install of RC2.

What I have different from previous 13.1 versions that I tested, is that I now formatted the root partition with btrfs. So it might be a btrfs+grub2 issue, a grub2 issue altogether or btrfs.

GNOME might be affected too, but didn't test since I use KDE4.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a dual boot machine and install 13.1 RC2 with KDE4 as main DE
2. Once installed, right click on desktop and select "Leave->Restart Computer->Windows 7"
3.
Actual Results:
grubs2 will keep booting to Windows without letting you to choose another OS

Expected Results:
After you selected to reboot to Windows it will boot to that OS, but after that, it should give you a choice to select another OS, but instead, it will keep booting to Windows all the time.

I'm wondering why it's still not fixed. The bug also appears in Factory.

P.S. It's a copy of No. 856391, a temporal solution suggested in the discussion of the issue.

This is duplicate issue and has been fixed in TW.
