Clicking on it the little window appears requesting the root's password. But it is impossible to enter the password, as the field does not show the characters entered, and after submitting the error message appears with "wrong password". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log off from any account. 2. Press the switch off icon 3. Try to enter the root's password and submit. Actual Results: Error message. Expected Results: Shutdown. Guess (by Werner Fink): logon screen is KDM, the KDE Display Manager By AK: I have installed KDE GUI and none other, so I believe it is KDM screen. With a green chameleon on the right side, and username, password, domain in the central part, from the top to the bottom. The icon concerned (meaning: ON-OFF) is situated at the bottom.
