In gnome wayland session Yast2 does not start from the dash, I get the prompt to input the root password and nothing happens that.

If I try to start it from the console with gnomesu yast2 I get the prompt again and then in exists the only messages I see in console are:

(gnomesu:3518): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_window_set_titlebar() called on a realized window Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a gnome wayland session
2. Start Yast2 from dash
3. Input your root password
Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
Yast2 should start

If I try to start it from the console with gnomesu yast2 I get the prompt again and then in exists the only messages I see in console are:

(gnomesu:3518): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_window_set_titlebar() called on a realized window Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.

See bug

I guess this one can be closed as a dupe, but leaving that for yast maintainers.
