Description Robby Engelmann 2016-06-08 05:10:52 UTC
Yesterday, I tested the snapshot 20160605 from open.qa prior to its release and got a failure in setting up Network Connection through the nm-applet in KDE: Could not add Connection - No session found for uid 1000 (unknown).

It was not possible anymore to connect to the internet via NetworkManager. Thus, I had to stick to wicked and revert changes to snapshot 20160603. However, the problem persisted and I decided to install the system freshly from USB with snapshot 20160603, now all works fine again.

Didn't try the snapshot 20160605 again through the TW standard repos.

I've exactly the same problem. Networkmanager is broken here to since today for me.

This is a known problem with the current snapshot of Tumbleweed.

Please check the following message on the opensuse-factory mailinglist:

Thanks. That did the trick. I'll be sure to dig at resources for factory next time.
