Fixed in https://github.com/VirusTotal/yara/commit/4a342f01e5439b9bb901aff1c6c23c536baeeb3f

committed July 4.

Yara is apparently undergoing a code audit and is releasing new updates every couple weeks. The first post-3.6.3 release should have this fixed.
