Well I don't know if it is really a duplication as I am running on an
athlon 64 machine. Prehaps a variant... But duplicate... Don't
think so as I did not do a compile, configure, make and make install.
Just installed the rpm's which I guess are not knowledegable enough
to figure out platfom dependencies. I be happy to provide more info
loags etc, where would I find them?

You probably got the wrong variant of the glibc package (see my
description in the 54694). Why you got that, I don't know.

If you are running FC1 or FC2 for IA32 you should be able to download
the i686 variant of the glibc rpm and force it to install over the
i386 variant.

(Btw, I think the "accessibility" keyword is wrong here -- and the
Ximian bugzilla could do with a keyword cleanup in general)

Peter, thank you. That did it! On my way.
