Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. compile mono 1.0.5 (it is possible, that the bug is in older versions, too)
2. run tests in mono/tests with make test


Actual Results:
it just hangs when testing appdomain-unload.exe
Testing appdomain-unload.exe...

running this test standalone:

/mono-1.0.5/mono/tests$ mono --debug appdomain-unload.exe

nevertheless it hangs after this last output

Expected Results:
all tests were passed without an error ;-)

How often does this happen? 
every time

Additional Information:
- %configure --with-tls=__thread
- kernel 2.6.9
