Description Thomas Wiest 2007-09-15 19:17:53 UTC

---- Reported by brion@pobox.com 2005-05-18 06:37:42 MST ----

Description of Problem:
Hitting shift+F8 crashes MonoDevelop, losing any unsaved edits to open
source files.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start MonoDevelop
2. Open a source or text file
3. Hit shift+F8

Actual Results:
MonoDevelop crashes; a pretty "The Application "MonoDevelop" has quit
unexpectedly." dialog shows. On the console this assertion error is displayed:

Gtk-ERROR **: file gtkpaned.c: line 1514 (gtk_paned_find_neighbours):
assertion failed: (this_link)
aborting...

Expected Results:
Shift+F8 should cycle focus to the panel resize handles.

How often does this happen?
Every time.

Additional Information:

Mono 1.1.7 installed from source release package.
MonoDevelop and dependencies compiled from SVN.
gtk# compiled from SVN, checked out a fresh copy just now. Configured with
bootstrap-2.4.
Ubuntu's GTK package seems to be 2.6.4.
