project name blindly used as default namespace, even when illegal
Last modified: 2007-09-15 21:23:51 UTC
---- Reported by ximian@tweak.net.au 2006-08-29 21:06:10 MST ---- Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Make a new project/solution 2. [choose any sort of c# project] 3. Choose a name like "myproject-test1" Actual Results: default namespace in generated Main.cs is "myproject-test1" This is not a valid namespace, and causes a Parser error when you try and build. Expected Results: I expected the namespace to be a somewhat munged version of the project name. How often does this happen? everytime Additional Information: ---- Additional Comments From lluis@ximian.com 2006-08-30 14:25:38 MST ---- *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=MONO78552 *** ---- Additional Comments From ximian@tweak.net.au 2006-08-30 14:36:58 MST ---- blah, horrible bugzilla search.
