Bugzilla – Bug 324285
Build web project in MD where web site loaded causes system crash
Last modified: 2008-04-24 22:34:25 UTC
---- Reported by mike@moga.to 2007-05-14 01:25:01 MST ---- Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a web project hosting some ASPX pages. 2. Build web project, start XSP2 in web project folder 3. Make a change or 2 & rebuild web project. Actual Results: Every couple of times the system crashes. Hard disk churns and system becomes unresponsive within seconds. Can jump to text terminal, log in and kill process if you are fast enough but tty fails after 10 seconds or so. Expected Results: ASP.Net triggers an application restart any time any directory is added or removed from the folder, or any time a file change notification is generated from within the bin folder. How often does this happen? Every few times. Additional Information: Im sure its my fault, sys config or whatever, but system crash is a pain so investigation appreciated. Possible path problems on my system (linux newb :( ) Unknown bug field "cf_op_sys_details" encountered while moving bug <cf_op_sys_details>Debian 4</cf_op_sys_details> Unknown operating system unknown. Setting to default OS "Other".
I can't reproduce it with MD and mono from trunk.
