Using official 10.3 release packages.
Comment 1 Stephan Binner 2008-03-27 08:02:13 UTC
What does "rpm -q kdelibs3 kdebase3 say"?
Comment 2 Rafal Wolak 2008-03-27 10:58:49 UTC
I ugraded kdelibs3 to current to check if error occurs - and yes, got the same message (httpSetAuthString)

kdelibs3-3.5.9-16
kdebase3-3.6.7.-87.5
Comment 3 Stephan Binner 2008-03-27 12:43:03 UTC
KDE 3.5.9 packages are not official, and there exists no kdebase3 version 3.6.7
Comment 4 Will Stephenson 2008-03-27 17:15:11 UTC
I guess you mistyped "3.5.7" as "3.6.7"?
Comment 5 Rafal Wolak 2008-03-27 19:30:17 UTC
Stephan, William - yes I mistyped ;) - sorry for that ;)
ofcourse it is kdelibs3-3.5.9-16 and kdebase3-3.5.7.-87.5

I know that KDE 3.5.9 packages are not official, like I sad - upgraded to current because want check if error occurs, before used kdelibs3-3.5.7-72

one more thing, when we try to print pdf document from KPDF (clicking print icon) aplication is crash and receive the same error as above (httpSetAuthString)
Comment 6 Will Stephenson 2008-03-27 21:58:20 UTC
That's your problem then - you can't use kdebase 3.5.7 with kdelibs 3.5.9. choose one version and use it for all your KDE 3 packages.
Comment 7 Rafal Wolak 2008-03-27 22:35:01 UTC
Will, I upgraded kdelibs only to check if problem is solved in dev pkg's!!!
Please read carefully my #2 and #5 post!
Problem occurs in (noticed in kjobviewer and kpdf) kdebase3-3.5.7.-87.5 / kdelibs3-3.5.7-72 - and latest prod version of this pkg's.
Pls check.

Thank You :)
Comment 8 Stephan Binner 2008-03-28 07:46:53 UTC
This is clearly a user error. If I have to guess, you're using openSUSE Factory packages - which are not built for openSUSE 10.3. Use the KDE:KDE3 repository for 10.3!
Comment 9 Rafal Wolak 2008-03-28 09:21:26 UTC
Guys, im using pkg's from:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/10.3/standard/i586/kdebase3-3.5.7-87.i586.rpm
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/10.3/standard/i586/kdelibs3-3.5.7-72.i586.rpm

so, tell me please - it's factory packages? I think its official repo for 10.3.
But dont worry, bug is closed now and you can now easily drink coffe.

regards.
Comment 10 Stephan Binner 2008-03-28 09:45:04 UTC
You don't, quote: "kdelibs3-3.5.9-16" - note that's revision 16 (same as for current Factory packages) and the 10.3 packages are at revision 87 now.

If you don't believe me, execute "rpm -qi kdelibs3 | grep Distribution".
Comment 11 Rafal Wolak 2008-03-28 10:51:05 UTC
Dear All,

like I post in comment #2, #5, #7 and #9 - I'm using kdebase3-3.5.7-87.i586.rpm / kdelibs3-3.5.7-72.i586.rpm,

!!! pls read carefully:
!!! kdelibs3-3.5.9-16 was used ONLY to check if error occurs in development packages (answer was: yes), after that I downgrade kdelibs to official repository packages - so, error still exist in official and development kdelibs.

Thank You.
